Starting in 2022, Lua Ventures transitioned to a model of anonymous rounds with mandatory NDAs. This strategy allows us to:

  • Protect the strategic interests of portfolio companies in the early stages
  • Avoid speculation in the early stages of project development
  • Ensure confidentiality for institutional LPs (Limited Partners)
  • Focus on long-term value rather than short-term hype
Note: You may find that the fund's status is marked as "Inactive" on various public data resources, which is precisely due to the transition to closed rounds.

This is a technical feature of reporting:

  • PitchBook and Crunchbase only track publicly announced rounds
  • Since 2022, Lua Ventures has been operating through closed structures without public disclosures
  • Actual activity is confirmed through portfolio companies and LP reporting

But even so, our public investments for the six rounds of 2021–2022 amount to more than $23.7 million. And private investments have already accumulated to more than $152 million.
